2018 Youth Police Academy Announcement

Academy Dates:

Incoming 7th and 8th grade students

July 16-July 20

8am-2pm


Grafton Youth Police Academy is a police led program offered to students who have an interest in law enforcement, military or emergency services. The program offers a variety of activities and lessons aimed at building leaders in our community.


The students will be exposed to many activities and speakers in the field of law enforcement. A sample of speakers and events we have scheduled already include:


Evidence Collection/Crime Scene Investigation

CPR Certification

K-9 Demonstration

Jail Visit- Worcester County House of Corrections

Motor Vehicle Law/Mock Traffic Stops

CEMLEC SWAT Tactics Course

Team Building/Leadership Exercises

Mass. State Police/Life Flight Helicopter Visit

Marching and Drill Exercise


Application deadline: June 18, 2018 by 5pm. Applications can be dropped off at police headquarters any time or submitted via email to youthacademy@graftonpolice.com
