Child Safety Seat Inspection Information

For additional information on Child Passenger Safety please visit the Massachusetts Executive Office of Public Safety and Security Child Passenger Safety.

Accidental childhood injuries remain one of leading causes of death in children age fourteen and under.  The proper selection and installation of a child restraint can greatly reduce the chance of injury in a crash.

Officer James Crosby, Officer Daniel Wenc and Officer Liam O'Rourke are certified Child Passenger Safety (CPS) Technicians.  Officers are available to conduct Child Safety Seat/Car Seat inspections on an appointment only basis.  We will not be able to accommodate walk-ins.  Please contact one of the officers to schedule an appointment.

Anyone interested in utilizing the Grafton Police Department CPS Program should contact the CPS Program voice mailbox at 508-839-2858 ext 420 for more information or to schedule an appointment.

Child Safety Seat Inspection Checkpoints will be held at the Grafton Police Headquarters in the upcoming months. Information on dates and times will be posted on this web site and through local media and notifications as information becomes available.
